Diverse and Detailed Applications Applauded

The 2017 United Against Bullying (UAB) Grant Application closed on Friday, March 31st. This year we received 121 completed applications, many of which were creative, in-depth, and ambitious, making the selection of winners very difficult.

“A champion needs a motivation above and beyond winning.” – Pat Riley

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete an application. You are all winners for your efforts to help end bullying, and empowering students to be leaders in your schools and communities. They are our future.

Free Resources Available

There are many free resources/programs on our website that educators, transportation departments, administrators, and parents can use to help end bullying and empower the 160,000 students who skip school every day because they are afraid of being bullied. It all starts with a conversation.

For current news on our campaigns, added resources, and inspiring stories, subscribe to UAB's semi-monthly e-newsletter, The Ripple Effect.
